Citizen Review Panels Coordinator

Panels of volunteers meet once a month to review cases of all children in foster care in order to achieve permancy for those children, either by being returned to their homes or being freed for adoption.

 

Youth Diversion Panels Coordinator

Panels of volunteers meet once a month in their own communities with juveniles who have committed minor, first-time offenses. With the parents' consent, the panels impose consequences on the juveniles for their behavior and monitor the case until all those consequences are met.

A Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) is a trained community volunteer who is appointed by a judge to advocate for an abused or neglected child in juvenile court dependency proceedings.
