Attending Criminal Court
If you have received a summons to Court, please carefully review your notice to check the location and time for the hearing. Failure to attend could result in a bench warrant (arrest.) Please carefully check your notice for information. Read All
State Court is a trial court with limited jurisdiction covering misdemeanor and traffic violations, prosecuted by the Solicitor's Office, and all civil actions, regardless of the amount, unless the Superior court has exclusive jurisdiction.
Gwinnett County Treatment Court Program is a sentencing alternative for a person charged with DUI and a diversion program for a person charged with felony drug charges. The program offers participants intensive outpatient treatment, random drug screening, and Court reviews in order to help reduce the recidivism rate among the substance abusing population.
